I am a (BA) qualified Scriptwriter and member of the Writers' Guild of Great Britain. I can provide Scriptwriting services for the film, television or commercial industries. My particular film specialisms are the Love Story, Rom-Com and Rites of Passage models and I have a heavy interest in costume drama.

I am a freelance feature and article writer for the Wessex Muse Magazine, national publications and other agencies. I have also written and co-produced local plays and pantomimes.


In the past I have been a fundraiser and advisor on collaborative projects for corporate clients and charities. My Company plans and project manages film related events across the South Coast, working closely with a variety of sponsors, agencies and partners associated with the film industry.

'Prequel to Cannes' is an annual film networking party, designed to bring support and opportunity to independent filmmakers, through one to one consultations with partners such as, South West Screen, The Writers' Guild of Great Britain, UK Trade and Investment, HSBC Banking, The Enterprise Pavilion and the Arts Development Unit. Prequel to Cannes is designed for anyone working independently in the film industry.

The annual event for 2009 will take place in June at an exciting new venue in Poole, Dorset.

It is suitable for anyone who is connected with the film industry, from scriptwriters, actors, producers, make up artists, special effects technicians, animators, to all film crew.

It is intended to unite independent film writers and film makers living or working in the South, by establishing a vibrant, proactive film community which will be able to tap into professional organisations for advice and support.

I am the founder and project manager for this event. The eventis supported by Borough of Poole Arts Development Unit, Poole Tourism and Strategic planning, Screen South West, The Writers' Guild, South Bank Publishing, Lighthouse (Poole Centre for the Arts).
